Two players per country, one man and one woman, are eligible to participate. The prestigious annual event drew 152 players from 85 countries, 82 men and 70 women. This video focuses on the hand position and ball release of the female bowlers and the various styles and different lines they played.

The 50th edition of the prestigious event, which runs from November 1-9, is the biggest event in the sport of tenpin bowling in regard to participating countries. Two players per country, one man and one woman, are eligible to participate.

Oron Cohen (l.) of Israel finished the first of four five-game blocks with a huge 295 game to lead the 29 bowlers of Squad A with 1210 total and an average of 242. Cohen, who started his set with 224, 198, 256 and 237, beat out former World Champion Biboy Rivera (r.), Philippines, for the top spot by seven pins.

The 50th edition of the World Cup will be contested November 1-9, 2014, at Sky Bowling Center in Wroclaw, Poland. It will be Visser's first World Cup appearance, while Kok will participate for the 7th time in his career. The long-time national team member and former Dutch national coach participated in every decade since the 1970's.
