Clara Guerrero, Tobias Börding earn the No. 1 seeds for World Cup Finals

Sin Li Jane vs. Brittni Hamilton and Mykhaylo Kalika vs. Chris Barnes to bowl in the opening matches starting at 1.30 p.m. CET

Clara Juliana Guerrero of Colombia and Germany's Tobias Börding earned the No. 1 seeds for the women's and men's finals of the 50th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup starting at 1.30 p.m. at Sky Bowling Center in Wroclaw, Poland.In the women's semifinals Sin Li Jane of Malaysia faces Team USA's Brittni Hamilton while Mykhaylo Kalika of Russia takes on Chris Barnes, United States, in the men's opening match.

By advancing to the stepladder finals, Hamilton and Barnes (pictured left) have secured the victory in country all-events and will receive the Bent Petersen trophy for top country.Guerrero (right), who started the match play round in No. 1 position just 12 pins ahead of Li Jane, averaged 243.50 and won six of her eight matches sealed the No. 1 seed with a 239-217 win against Li Jane in the position round match. The two-time World Champion totaled 8353 pins including 180 bonus (30 per win), an overall average of 227.03 for 36 games.
Li Jane averaged 231.63 in match play and compiled a 5-3 won-lost record to qualify in second place with 8216 and an overall average of 224.06. Third place belonged to Hamilton (right), who beat out 16-year-old Maria Bulanova of Russia for the final berth by 23 pins, 8171 to 8148.Trailing the American by 77 pins heading into the position round match, Bulnova had to win by 48 pins (plus 30 bonus for the win) to advance. Though Bulanova struck on eight of her first nine shots, she was unable to make up enough ground, winning the match, 251-227.

Börding (left), who led the men's division from wire to wire, cruised to the No. 1 seed averaging 234.38 for the day. The 22-year-old right-hander finished with 8768 total including 135 bonus (4-3-1 W-L-T) and an overall average of 239.81 and led the men's field by 245 pins.Kalika (right) defeated Börding in the position round match, 230-215, to seal the No. 2 spot with 8523 after starting the day in eighth place. The Ukrainian won five of his matches averaging 231.63 for eight games and 224.06 overall.
Barnes (right), a six-time World Champion and 17-time PBA titlist defeated Magnus Johnson, 257-213, in the position round match to overtake the 21-year-old Swedish youth national team member and to claim the No. 3 seed with 8505 including 150 bonus, an average of 232.08 overall.All matches in the stepladder finals will features best-of-three games format.

The event will be broadcast live on BOWL.com's BowlTV.Live coverage and live streaming commences on Tuesday, November 4th, with the first round of qualifying and concludes on Sunday 9th with the stepladder finals.
The preliminaries consist of four blocks of five games with the top 24 men and the top 24 women after 20 games advancing to the intermediate round. Those 24 players bowl further 8 games with the pinfall total from the preliminaries being carried forward.The top 8 men and the top 8 women after 28 games will bowl a further seven games round robin match play plus one game position round (total 8 games) with 30 pins bonus per win and 15 for a tie.
The top 3 men and the top 3 women after 36 games including bonus pins will determine the champions in the stepladder finals in best-of-three games format.
